Join Godley Tax & Accounting as a Tax Associate and help us transform how businesses and individuals approach their finances. We're looking for someone with 1–3 years of tax experience to work alongside our team in delivering clear, confident tax and accounting solutions. This is a full-time, remote position based in India, offering competitive compensation . What you'll do

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Conduct tax research and analysis to identify planning opportunities and minimize client tax liability
• Support clients in understanding their tax positions and the reasoning behind recommendations
• Maintain organized client files and documentation in line with firm standards
• Collaborate with senior team members on complex tax matters and client consultations
• Stay current with tax law changes and communicate relevant updates to clients
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and service quality

What we're looking for

• 1–3 years of hands-on tax preparation or accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Indian tax law and compliance requirements
• Proficiency with tax software and accounting tools
• Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to explain complex tax concepts in accessible language
• Proactive problem-solving approach and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
